FALL/WINTER SKINCARE TIPS
Global Clinical Educator: Sandra Adams
Now that summer is over, it’s time to "winterize" our skin. Time to prepare and protect skin from the onslaught of seasonal dry conditions and winter weather. Maintaining hydration levels and protecting the skin are keys to maintaining healthy, glowing skin during this dry skin season.
For drier skin types, integrating or alternating products like Poly-Vitamin Serum in the evening can restore the rosy glow to dull skin and provide the gentle exfoliation needed for improved tone and texture. Follow with nourishing, antioxidant rich Moisturizing Complex for face, neck and anywhere needed. For combination skin types, adding Hydra-Cool Serum over Active Serum in the evening will reduce dehydration and provide enhanced antioxidant, anti-acneic benefits. Hydra-Cool Serum provides liquid hydration to balance combination skin types. It is also a great after shave for men.
Best kept anti-aging skincare secret for winter? Daily sunscreen use! SPF 25 Treatment Sunscreen provides broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. The deep reaching, aging, UVA rays are as intense in the winter as in the summer. SPF 25 Treatment Sunscreen delivers a cosmetically elegant formula providing enhanced hydration and potent high levels of antioxidants for daily use. Make it a daily part of your winter regime.
A winter skincare check up with the professionals is a must for all!

BUSINESS BUILDING TIPS

Dealers Incentivize Staff with Product Commissions
Many savvy practices utilize a commission incentive for skincare sales in the practice. Industry standards indicate that most practices award a 5% commission on total retail costs (or 10% wholesale). Most employees may not realize how a little extra selling can add to their paycheck.
The incentive for the practice to offer commission on product sales is multi-layered and can include:
- Higher skincare sales help ensure patient loyalty and retention
- Commissioned sales increase the cash business for the practice
- Patients perceive the employee as more of an "expert" when they are able to recommend medical grade skincare
- Product commission gives employers an easy way to add value to their employees compensation package
- Commission sales can bring a healthy competition into the workplace among employees
Incentive based selling offers increased revenue to the practice and the employee plus added value for the patient. It's for good for business and creates more satisfied customers.

Each October, Innovative Skincare organizes its annual iS Cancer Care Spa Days, where patients from the UCLA Revlon Breast Center and the Washington Cancer Institute receive special treatments from the iS Cancer Care Program. Hundreds of patients sign up for a full day of pampering and education. The oncology departments are transformed into a cheerful and relaxing spa environment, where patients enjoy rejuvenating, moisturizing iS Harmony facials, gentle back and neck massages, paraffin treatments, a catered breakfast and lunch, as well as nutritional and exercise counseling. Once again these events were truly motivating and inspiring for our company.
